A (probably vain) attempt to head off Jules' maternity column

1st week at work went fine. They've finally given me a security pass and didn't seem at all bothered that I have no recognised safety qualifications. ERveryone seemed a little surprised at that and I've been told to expect them to catch up with me eventually so I'm trying to get the dutch qualification as I know they accept that already and it's apparently available in English, and perhaps even under the counter brown-paper-bag-style, which would suit, frankly.

I'm currentl;y trying to set up the business end of the whole thing as it seems that this is the best way to be tax efficient and probably also to keep the maximum number of people employed leaching off my earnings. Ho hum. Got to buy a car next week. I want a 5 series beemer, but Andrea thinks that's a little big. Currently looking at an Alfa 156 estate. S'not really an estate, although about big enough for the bikes and has a 150 bhp 2.5l diesel engine so I can claim fuel efficiency while hooning up the motorway ... probably straight into the garage given the Alfa's reliability rep.

nevermind, I'll try and be a little more regular on the updates on my super exciting life in the petro-chem industry but I have no interweb at work (which I think is probably a good thing).
