Morning all

Currently in Ottawa. Met up with Soph and Kirsty last night. Ottawa must be the smallest capital city of any developed nation in the known universe. We're off to wander round the shop this morning before heading back to the smoke and thence up to the farm, where it is a balmy -25 C.

Just a short entry for those whoi know Rich and Julie Todd. They are on hols in Phuket at the moment, but are OK and were not washed away by the 'kin great earthquake or the following Tsunamis on Boxing Day.

Haven't heard from Ray, ange or Brennan yet. I think Guy was in Pattaya, which is East coast so should have been shielded from the tidal waves. Ray and Ange were either in Wales or Sri Lanka. Without meaning to sound tasteless, but I'm not sure which would have been worse...

Xmas in Canadia is cold (-20 at the mo) lots of snow, but balanced by an equal amount of wine and beer. Seasons greetings to all, and our thoughts to those living on the West coast of Asia at the mo.

I know that the earthquake was felt in S'pore, I assume that Cindy and Aeryn are all fine. Singaporeans know how to build stuff proper, so I am confident.
