Cartoons, cartoons and no ... err ... porn. Probably

no porn today (unless I find some while I'm writing ... far from impossible) but I do have important news.

Several of you enjoyed the masterful 30 second remake of the Exorcist, acted by cartoon bunnies, which I posted a couple of months ago. Imagine my delight to find that this was not an isolated study, but that those talented folks at Angry Alien have also parodied such clasics as the Shining, Alien and Jaws and is apparently working on TxCSM. Study: Good Porn Still Hard To Find
BOSTON—According to a report released by the Institute for Advanced Media Studies, good porn remains hard to find. "Though it's true that there is 350 percent more pornographic material on the market than there was five years ago, quality porn is as difficult to find as ever," Dr. Jeffrey Conchlin said. "Sometimes, you can find a DVD with hot chicks who seem to be enjoying themselves, but usually, they've got big fake tits, the sex is either boring or way too gross, and the setting is totally depressing. This trend is discouraging." Dr. Conchlin added that porn filmmakers are at least a decade away from seamlessly combining good storytelling with hot DP.

Dave mentioned yesterday that SpaceShip One made its second, and X-prize winning, flight reaching >100km (actually quite a lot >, at 110km) for the second time in a two week period. Sir Dick is now backing them with his Virgin Galactic scheme, 100K of your new english pounds and 9 minutes in space is yours. Certainly cheaper than the 20 Mill that some rich twat paid the Russians but I think I'll wait for Ryan Air's planned "50 quid to the moon" promotion due 2008. Good vid here

Finally, back on the subject of animation, and Scott Bateman, apparantly a cartoonisty in the US, has some good stuff at this site. The first of his stuff I saw was the Heston story about dear old Charlton and his cold dead hands, or something. Fairly amusing, albeit overridingly american. He does have a good range of tee shirts, though;



If only it had animated comedy breasts on it, I'd order one today.
