Perhaps stretching the definition of portable

Take a look at this site, called the Gigapxl Project. Some ex-physicist has taken a load of cold war era camera equipment and created a digital camera capable of capturing 4 GIGApixels. Doesn't really fit in his pocket, though.

Reading the commentary, he seems like a bit of a dick ;"do you think you could get that sort of detail in even the finest DSLR?" he quips. "no; but I wouldn't get a broken back lugging the fucking thing around either, you sanctimonious cunt."

Andrea had an unexpected 3rd interview for Brussels last night and has bagged a year leader position, which apparently means I don't need to work at all. Probably.

Off to Bali for CNY hols tomorrow, Weather forcast belies the huge pile of cash we paid (Rain for the next 4 days. Bloody Marvelous. Ah well, I suppose the bar will still be open; do you think I could take my PS2 with me...? Best not eh?
